I’m coming home to my hometown, Pennington Gap, Virginia, to say thank you. Thanks to my family, and my home church, and the community for having such an impact on my life. After 44 years of full-time Christian ministry I’m now retired and living in North Carolina. When Arlene and I think about how blessed our life has been we realize almost all of those blessings are tied to things we learned and decisions we made way back then. I’d like to invite everyone (Family, Church, School, Friends, and People I grew up with) to join us at First Christian Church in Pennington Gap, Virginia on Sunday, April 19 at 11 AM. My sermon that morning will come from my heart and share how blessed I’ve been from being a part of that wonderful place. We will have a luncheon for everyone after the service.
